1967 DUTCHMAN WAS POWERED BY (2) 427 CUBIC INCH FORD - F.I. ENGINES THAT
WERE CRANK-COUPLED TO FORM A V-16 THAT DEVELOPED 1050 HORSEPOWER AT 6250
R.P.M.`S. A CASALE GEARBOX WAS USED WITH 1.3X1 GEARING.
THE PROPELLOR WAS A CARY 2-BLADE THAT WAS LOANED TO RAY BY GEORGE MCKERNAN, CREW CHIEF OF THE BUDWEISER TEAM AT THAT TIME. |
